Ed Maginnis concentrates his practice in consumer protection class actions, business litigation, as well as other civil litigation matters. Ed handles cases throughout North Carolina and, for certain business/consumer protection matters, throughout the country. Ed has tried numerous cases to verdict before juries, judges, and arbitrators, and has recovered (or saved) millions of dollars for his clients in just matters that went all the way to trial, including a $2,000,000.00 federal court jury verdict in 2018.

Ed has previously served as the state-wide Section Chair for Consumer Areas of Practice at the North Carolina Advocates of Justice and is active in various local and national legal organizations. Prior to starting the firm in 2010, Ed practiced at two large international law firms in Washington, D.C. representing multiple Fortune 500 companies. He and his wife Diane live in Wake Forest with their kids Emma and Luke.
